We want you to leave Fox Physiotherapy after your first visit with a clear picture of what your problem is, how we can help you, more importantly how you can help yourself, and how long it will take to get you back to the life you want to lead and the activities you love.
To help us prepare for your visit, we will send you your pre consultation questionnaire, giving us a thorough background of your story.
We will listen to your story, a thorough physical examination will be carried out to assess your problem further.
We will then discuss with you your current problem, and devise a plan to get you back to the things you love to do without pain or restriction.
A personalised exercise plan to help you progress between sessions will be demonstrated, practiced and reviewed.
Advise, tips and education as to whether your activities and hobbies should be altered for now will be discussed along with a committed time frame to help solve your problem.
A referral is not required but we are happy to discuss your progress with your GP or Consultant.
Please bring a list of any current medications and any scan results eg. Mri with you to your first appointment.
The affected area will be exposed, therefore you might be more comfortable in a pair of shorts for low back or leg issues. Ladies should bring a vest top for an upper limb issue.
Your physiotherapist will make you aware of how many sessions you will need to reach your goal. These future sessions can be block booked for your convenience.
Our standard appointments are 45 minutes and cost €70.00.

Yes. We have a pre consult form that gives us a picture of your problem prior to your online consultation so you can achieve the best result from your session, this will be emailed to you on booking your appointment.
We also have a consent form that will be emailed to you prior to your session that you simply have to agree to.
Prior to follow up appointments we will be sending you a “Progress Update form” so we can plan for your session accordingly.

To help the healing process you will receive YOUR EXERCISE program to continue at home, which may include heat or ice therapy, postural awareness, ergonomic adjustments or activity or rehabilitation plans.
